EV fast charging in Thailand isn't a problem, although you need a smartphone and a variety of apps. Those we are currently using are:

  • Elexa (EV charging network mostly at Bang Chak stations)

  • ReverSharger (helps locate chargers from a variety of networks including Spark, BYD, Shell)

  • EV Station Pluz (EV charging at PTT stations, can reserve in advance using the app)

  • Plugshare (helps locate chargers from a variety of networks including PEA Volta)

  • Altervim (can be found in some Lotus supermarket carparks, but unfortunately none in Krabi where we live. Can reserve in advance using the app)

  • MG Thailand (some MG dealers have them)

  • PEA Volta (sometimes slower than Spark and Elexa but good in a pinch)

  • Spark (EV charging network mostly at Bang Chak stations)

  • MEA EV (Bangkok only)

  • Charge+ (can be found in some Big C carparks, but unfortunately none in Krabi where we live)

  • Evolt (helps locate chargers from a variety of networks including BYD)

  • EA Anywhere (chargers located in hotels and carparks)

  • OneCharge (slower chargers located in hotels)

Our experience has been mostly with EleXa, Spark and EV Station Pluz so far, and they have all been excellent.
